Right people, right places… gearing up for a bright future

Aldershot-based Van Sales Executives, Tracey Stewart and Tim Hill (pictured) are now spearheading Rossetts Commercials’ drive for new business in Surrey and South London. The latest recruits to Van Sales Manager Mike Sanders’ team are relishing the opportunity to retail Sprinter, Vito and Citan models from the award-winning Mercedes-Benz Vans range.

Tracey spent her last four years as a fleet and commercial sales specialist with a French manufacturer, and before that worked in a number of finance roles. “I wanted to represent a more prestigious brand and, when it comes to vans, that means Mercedes-Benz,” says the all-action Tracey, a keen surfer and skier.

Former estate agent Tim meanwhile, has returned to the world of work after taking a couple of years out to help bring up his daughters. “There’s a lot to learn as far as the product is concerned,” he acknowledges. “But my new colleagues have been very helpful and I’m determined to make the most of this chance.”

As this issue went to press, Mike was seeking to set the seal on his expanded team by appointing Rossetts’ first Van Talent trainee, as well as a second new Van sales executive to work alongside Tony Harris at Crawley. Completing the line-up of Worthing-based Martin Gearing and Sean Meadows, and John Lomas, who operates in Eastbourne.

Customers for used vans are also benefiting from the investments that Rossetts Commercials is making in its sales team. Chris Woods continues to retail pre-owned vehicles from Worthing but has now been joined by dedicated Used Van Sales Executive Steven Lord, who is based in Crawley.

Steve, pictured, spent 20 years as a car trader but was selling another brand of van when an associate recommended Rossetts. “He told me what a great company it is to work for so I took him at his word, contacted Sales Manager Mike Sanders, and haven’t looked back since,” he says. “Rossetts is clearly a very well-run business, while Mercedes-Benz Vans are the best that money can buy.”

Most of the pre-owned vehicles retailed by Rossetts are top-quality examples offered through the Mercedes-Benz Approved Used scheme. They are less than six years old, have fewer than 150,000 miles on the clock, and come with a full-service history, as well as 12 months MOT and free MobiloVan roadside assistance, provided they are maintained within the manufacturer’s official Dealer Network.
